Join an all-star collaboration of Alabama's cancer-related organizations as they host "Celebrating Life," a National Cancer Survivors Day celebration with the Birmingham Barons.
This year's event will feature educational opportunities, children's activities, giveaways, and more! Come cheer for the Barons as they take on the Chattanooga Lookouts. Plus, help us recognize the thousands of cancer survivors who are celebrating life! The first 200 cancer survivors will receive a free T-shirt and ticket to the game!
Celebrating Life Event
- When: Friday, June 1 at 6 p.m.
- Where: Regions Park Stadium?(100 Ben Chapman Drive, Birmingham, AL 35244)
- Why: National Cancer Survivors Day is an annual, global Celebration of Life that is held in hundreds of communities during the first weekend in June. Participants unite to show the world that life after a cancer diagnosis can be meaningful and productive. Since 2010, the? UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center has partnered with its Community Roundtable organizations and other UAB centers to host a free and fun-filled community event for survivors and their families.
